Ruben Cruz, CPA, is CEO and Founder of Crulliance, LLC, a next-generation CPA firm dedicated to providing world-class accounting and tax solutions for small businesses and individuals. Ruben and his team are passionate about helping small businesses thrive.
When Ruben works with his small business clients, he blends business strategy, financial expertise, unwavering integrity, audit principles, and technology smarts, providing a fresh, unique and profitable approach to accounting, tax and advisory services. He works with businesses in all industries, including SaaS, retail, and hospitality.
Ruben is a licensed CPA in Florida. He has also earned a Certification in Risk Management Assurance and is a Certified Internal Auditor. He is a member of the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA) and is honored to have been nominated for the FICPA’s 2019 Horizon Awards.
In his community, Ruben serves as a board member of ECHO (Emergency Care Help Organization) and as a board member of Tampa International Airport Police Department Guardians Foundation. He served two years as Vice President of Communications of the West Coast Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Prior to starting his own firm, Ruben held various audit positions at two large companies and a CPA firm, working with privately-owned as well as publicly-traded companies on various assurance projects including audits, internal control assessments, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Ruben earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with family, sports and outdoors.
